I decided to go for a tight composition with my 200 mm

Very cool. I would have also opted for the 200 rather than a 50mm.

I'm not sure I would have gotten that shot with a 2000mm. ha ha ha

Very nice. What was the aperture used? I would have liked to have seen a little more of the snake in focus.

To answer your question, here is the exif: Canon EOS 50D ,Canon EF 200mm f/2.8L USM
1/320s f/4.5 at 200.0mm iso400
I guess I could have push the ISO some to increase the DOF, but at 200 mm I needed some speed.
