Thank you Lou - - so very sweet of you. I think & hope it will be well received. I think you should go back to your book...... Color photos - - you know.... it's funny how some shots just scream they should be B&W. Which reminds me.... You probably remember the Nikon FM. I owned two which were both stolen from me. Not my fault that someone broke into my apartment etc.... Anyhow, I've been wanting to replace it just to have one for the sake of it. I just got one. It's almost mint. Just a tad of fading, not brassing, underneath.... I've just started running a roll through it to check it. It meters etc so I'm hopeful. It looks good. So now the guys on photo.net are talking me into running both color slide film & B&W film through it. We'll see how far I take this. But I'm so happy to have one again.

cover was chosen by four different forums & it won by a landslide.
The Lotus & the bee has not bee posted before. I realized in the flowers for Karl-a thread that there were a lot of shots from the Japanese Garden I'd not uploaded to my site - - hence not ever posted. So I chose it for this one. Glad you like it - I hope my father will as well

I've got quite a few images, as do most of us, and sometimes am at a loss as to what to do with them. Printing a book seems like a nice tangible way to present them.
I'm glad you've accomplished this one, hopefully it isn't the last.

glad you like the cover shot - it is very special to me.
I share my photos here & on my Zenfolio site. But since my father is computer illiterate I have had no way of sharing them with him. If I just print them I know they'll end up in a drawer or cabinet. This way it may end up on a table or his library. Or - - if I'm really lucky, he'll decide I should print large prints for him & he'll frame them to sell in his art gallery. Yes - he does own an art gallery. He used to have two.
