Very fine clarity on those shots, Woodsie. Sufficient sharpness, great natural looking colours. The first one is as fine a buck portrait as I have ever seen. Now, I can not imagine you'd get that close to them with the 200mm prime, unless you used the ole Ottawa Valley velcro trick to "stabilize" the deer.
I was that close Peter,,, they're wild deer that live at a rather large conservation area here, actually in Kanata. They have become quite acclimated to human presence and if you move rather slowly even the bucks will allow you a close approach, this buck was pretty bust feeding and allowed me to walk around him to get some different angles,,, thanks for the kind words Pops
