Tim,
I wouldn't be worried about the GBH attacking while being underneath... no I would be worried of a greater
"attack" so to speak. Next time wear a hat just in case.
Nice Series.

Great series Tim.
Love #4 that sure is one close up shot and the woodies have fantastic colors and lines. #6 is a beauty.
Well done
Martin
Thank you very much Martin! I love those woodies.

That is a 3rd degree encounter right there Tim I wouldn't be too confortable in that position
That is sick detail there distance to subject does make a differences
I like the last wood duck crop...very nice!
As Chad said, #6 does indeed look a bit on the blue side but barely noticeable!
Yeah Nello, it was close encounter! Kind of creepy to be honest with you.
Glad you like the ducks!
What no comment about the a$$pod

These are very nice, Tim. You got some sharp detail. Too bad you couldn't get any closer. Except for # 5, with the centered subject, the rest of the images are very nicely composed, and colors are pleasing. 1, 3 and 7 my favorites.
Socrate
I'll try to get closer next time Socrate, I'll need the 300 with its macro abilities
You are correct 5 would look nicer if it wasn't centered, thanks for that.
Glad you liked them.

Tim, the Wood Duck images are very nice, the GBH #4 is awesome Great captures on the closeups
Sonofagun....you manage to extract such good detail out of that lens even when shooting into those white skies. The Wooden duck decoy also looks great, almost as if poised to come to life.

Yes sir, living here if you can't shoot against a white sky, well give it up.
PetKal, with such a slow shutter one can only shoot decoys!!!
Thanks dude, that is very kind.

Image one is a bit dark and lacks light. I also would have back paddled to give more room. It's a bit Tight on the composition.
2, 3, and 4 are really tight compositions. As you've commented on several of my posts regarding tight cropz and composition I'm surprise you would post images like this.
If you look at the end of the bill it is OOF. I would have stopped down a bit more to get it in focus. Maybe f/11? you were at 1/500 sec so you could have spared another stop at least.
Numbers 5 and 7 wood ducks are very tight compositions also. Bird looking right at the edge of frame. 6 is nice I like it.
