p.1 #1 · 18-55is or 20-35?? Need Help ASAP

I can get a new 18-55is right now for $85 or I can get a used but in perfect condition canon 20-35mm (not the 2.8 though) for $150. What do I do?

18-55 IS for $85? You're sure its the IS version?

If so, that's a great price. Do it.

Canon EFs 18-55mm IS.... hands down....

Make sure it's the IS version. You can't go wrong.

Yes - it would be double that in the UK at current exchange rates.

Yes, it is the IS version and I bought it. Was just making sure I should keep it rather than return it and buy the 20-35 if it was a better lens. It is metal, etc, and I was not sure if it was any better or not since it was a lot older/...

Had 20-35, have the 18-55 IS, latter is better, forget about what's metal or not: these things don't break in normal use, or you'd have heard plenty about it.
