Did this in my living room yesterday
white sheet for background and a sheet of Plexiglas on the floor on top of the sheet
big window for light on the right and a SB 800 on a Nikon D300 that's it
24-70 wide open
nice shot i think a little pp could make it even better
I took a couple of minutes and lightened the background but left the reflection in
what do you think (everything eles is the same)- if you don't want it up just let me know
what a cutie-i'm seeing a gray line all around her, though, which makes me think you cut her out and put her on this white, reflective surface in PP-clean that up and you've got a winner
Hi George, hope you don't mind as I had to give it a try too.
I think the transition from your granddaughter to the plexi could be cleaned up a bit more on mine. She is a real cutie.
Great new version, but you missed a little bit on her back and around her head. You might try the clone stamp tool on lighten mode. Make sure you do it on a new layer so you can erase if you make a mistake
Fun shot! I like the versions with less reflection rather than more. For some reason, my brain wants there to be the full reflection/shadow, or so little I don't notice it. Just a thought.
And a beautiful kid...nice when they don't mind the camera!
Thanks Dan .....but I think yours is better...........
Thanks Whizkid
I printed one out and when I did I can see a lot of Blue in the spots I missed.....Weird I cant see it on my monitor before I hit the print button....It's got to be the hardest thing going trying to get the printer to print what you think is right.
In My case the first print is always garbage then the next one out is the good one after I fix my mistakes.
Thanks MSC........
You are right I like Dan's version better as well
