I'm addicted to editing. No good. Especially when I need to be getting images sorted to print for my portfolio. In any case. This is what caught my eye and was trying to avoid processing. There are a bunch of images from this place. Some of which I've posted, Kukuiula Harbor near Poipu. I 'mine' this place every Weds (was there again yesterday). This is from the 5th. Curious on thoughts. Fairly happy with the way this one turned out. Yay sunset and rocks and water.
I can see why you mine this area. I love the FG and Mg textures, as well as the whole comp. My only nit would be that OMM the upper mid needs to be toned down a bit, it may not be blown but the contrast is harsh to my eye...JMO mike
Gorgeous foreground. Love the SS effect....works well here. I understand the need
for copy righting however with this image it may be best to sign it in the LRH side.

Love the color and the choice of SS to imply the wave motion. Have you a version from slightly to the right panned left - opening up the path to the sea and putting the bright area in the opening?
hugh - i was quiet close to a rock wall of sorts but next time i'm down there i'll see if the comp you are referring to is there. many others i will eventually post from this area
