Ted and Nate...thank you for the vote of confidence. This is only the 2nd time i have entered anything into the monthly (or weekly) assignments. Appreciate it. Today was a great day to be out shooting....new tripod.....new 10" of snow.
Well done, I might suggest doing a rotation in your image editing application. Right side is higher than the left side - er, or is it an optical illusion

I think it is a bit of lens distortion with the wide angle....the verticals are pretty straight and plumb....but you are right the cross beams aren't....I may see if I can correct the perspective a bit...
this looks fine , only a view camera really does this with ease , I think you could make it "perfect" but I don't really think it matters much, I am no good at perspective correction so I cannot help any more that this
Thanks John...this sort of thing isn't even visible in landscapes, is it?
I find that during composition, i can either concentrate on getting the verticals straight, or the horizontals...take my pick...When using a wide angle lens at least.
