It was a bright sunshiny day that turned cloudy as often happens in the mountains in June. No rain however. So photo challenges included brilliant, cheerful sun and dull, gloomy gray.
I may be stretching the acceptable # of posted photos - my apologies, I have a hard time limiting them
Some lovely shots (and a great location). Not keen on the ones where the rider/bike is cut through by the edge of the frame or is positioned dead centre, but number 6 and 8 especially are great.

Thanks very much!
Yes, I've gotten the same feedback in previous posts about too much centering of riders and I'm working on that going forward. These pictures were taken before that input was received and I insist on posting them anyway
I've also been told that "back" shots are a no-no, always try and get a face shot. But when I talked to my mtb friends they all enthusiastically agreed that back shots are a wonderful perspective for mtb pictures. Oh well, I think I'll be breaking that 'rule' a little bit.
As to the cutoff shots, for some reason I still liked them, they also had a unique perspective but I agree, they are probably not the best.
Personally I don't like how these pictures are showing up on here. I wonder if I sharpened too much? But on my monitor, in LR they look better.

Oh I agree with that, some of my favourite MTB shots are 'back' shots..
