Just noticed the bulb in my flash seems to be gone. I have the AB400 and am in Canada. I really don't feel like dealing with shipping to and from the states through the Alien bees website so I was wondering if someone new if I could get these bulbs where I live in Victoria BC?
Just order a replacement bulb directly from PCB, no need to send in your unit. The bulb just plugs in, make sure it is seated properly and don't grunge up the bulb with finger prints, it could shorten the life of the bulb. I don't think there is a third party option.

If you need the flash tube its either PCB or their authorized repair facility in Canada. Getting a "like" tube from another source would be risky. Even though they are probably a "stock" part from somewhere, unless PCB identifies the source there is a compatability risk.
I think for most reading the thread "bulb" equals modeling light bulb which is a standard household type. as you know and have been told repeatedly here.
