I'm looking for other shooters in Indiana to speak to. I'd like to shoot more with someone just because I'd like to learn more and more. Right now I'm 20, and I just eat information up. I'm into Automotive and Sports photography but I try everything else. I lack qualities and confidence in studio, portrait, and wedding photography. I'm more of a photojournalist than formal photographer, if that makes sense.
I guess this is just me asking for a bit of help. Thanks FM'ers.
Thanks, I would but I'm already enrolled in 5 classes at Ivy Tech C.C. I will once I graduate with an AS, however, I really don't want to mess with film. Call me shallow. lol

Go to Roberts Camera (Downtown, not Carmel). Ask questions, hang out, buy stuff. They should know all sorts of people/groups/clubs to help. They sponsor their own shoots and classes as well. Good people.
Thanks for the camera club, i'm RIGHT off of stop 11 so it's very close. And as for Roberts, they have $5,000 of mine so you'd think I knew something about clubs there hahah but i'll have to check back in there for more questions. Thanks.
If you're looking for more than just technical skill you've got one of the best fine art undergraduate photo programs in the country in your town. Linda Adell over at Herron School of Art and Design runs a mean photo program.
Wrath of Khan: Haha thanks for the advice, but I'm stubborn and still won't until it REALLY becomes a past-time. So does that mean you would like to help or not? Haha.
Jammy Straub: Trust me, I know. However, money is an issue and I doubt I could get in there. I'll be sure to send her an e-mail and ask though. Maybe I could be like Good Will Hunting, and become a janator there.
Man, there are so many WONDERFUL film solutions for Nikon. I have an FE2 and a F100 on the way. The FE2 is one of the funnest and most useful cameras I've ever used. What digital body are you using, D70s? The only bad thing about shooting film is that you are going to long for a Full Frame, FX, camera. I bought both my FE2 and F100 on FM for $88 each shipped. If you only have DX glass then film is a waste of time, but if you really want to get into photography and have a few AF-D or non-DX AFS non-G lenses the FE2 would be awesome. You can use everything but the DX lenses on an F100. These are just a few of the shots I've taken on film. I'm new but I think these are pretty sweet pictures.
BTW, nice to see you're on Indiana Impreza. I haven't lived in Indiana for 3 years and I didn't shoot when I was there so I'm sorry I can't be of more help concerning clubs.
