So, I paid about $150 for a photo field trip to Mt. Shuksan in Wash. state. Apparently one of the most photographed mountains in the world. On a clear day, it reflects back perfectly in Picture Lake.
Well, as luck would have it, it was dark and gloomy. So what does our instructor do? Saves the day by teaching us how to use the fog and how to take pictures of moving water. Very cool!
Way to make the best of the situation. I would recommend posting around 750px for easier viewing.
As for the shots...glad you are posting now...welcome.
1 is a decent scene, watch the branches on the right side poking in...no bueno
2 mostly works. you have good color in the fg and lines but i find the tree on the left sticks up a bit too much taking away from the bit of symmetry is there...i might experiment next time with a stronger, up close fg subject (like those red flowers there)
3 a nice quaint scene, good work
