For a couple of reasons I'm not certain about this photo. I've gotten some mixed reviews from friends. Any thoughts? Taken in October '05, 20D+17-85IS

I am not certain also. It is kind of busy and it is difficult to know what it is we are supposed to look at. Great use of B&W. Mado

My eye goes directly to the smaller tower in the center. The use of framing and lighting directs the eye well. The road distracts a little for me, but the composition is very effective IMO.
Some areas in the sky could be a bit darker.

Hey Bob,
I like it. I think you did a really good job on this. I would agree with Marc's suggestions on this. Overall a really solid composition!
