I can only imagine what this would have looked like had you been at your beach. Incredible.
The foreground spoils it a bit but when these moments happen you just have to record them!

Hello Javier,

Nothing wrong with the foreground - it's a real place under exciting conditions, and, as you say, it's really about the light. Very well done.

The foreground really adds interest for me..It's more than just another "pretty" sunset; I can imagine being there.

Well, at least, I think you are right about "another pretty sunset".
This picture is another history of light.
Thanks a lot for your comment.

I agree , Javier . You couldn't let this one get away ! Can't always be in the right place at the right time , and I'm happy to accept the foreground with a sky like this one.

Javier I do not have a problem with the FG. When i notice color developing in the sky I try to make it to higher ground or waterside, but it is always a gamble, I've had more than a few fade out before I got to where I thought I should be. So bravo for taking the scene when you could......mike

Javier - I'll copy some of the sentiment above. For me it really works. Great light doesn't have a monopoly on pristine meadows with wildflowers framed by majestic peaks. I like how you handled the "mundane" of the foreground and turned it into a beautiful scene. The leading lines of the sidewalk really help in that regard.

Hey Javier,

Cool! I think the city scene is kind of cool. I would just clone out those couple of bright spots in the lower right part of the street. Maybe even crop a bit of the bottom off.

What the heck, Javier ! I remember a similar situation, in a supermarket parking lot in Cornwall, England, being torn between the heavenly evening light show and the cars all around me (and in the viewfinder). Sometimes one not only has to make concessions, one has to go beyond them, let it go and let the picture focus on what really matters. Well done here. Lo que no son pesetas son puñetas, quizás, pero lo que no es luz también es puñetas.
