Hi Mike, Just when we all think its safe to come out you return with another classic, not sure how your mind works but wish i had 10% of your creativity
Take care
Mark
Wow, I was thinking about you last night and was going to PM you. This is awesome. The concept...man, I see you changed up your lighting as well!! Love it Mike.
One question, though: Why can we see a faded portion of the snapped wire through the largest piece of cover plastic (at the top w/ hp logo) ??
I assume everything you do is intentional, but that part looks a bit odd since the plastic does not seem to be semi-transparent.
Enlighten me.
Superb job as usual,
~ Carrol
Hey guys! Thanks for dropping by. I was glad to be able to shoot with you this week. It's great to see you all!
Hi Carrol, I think what you are referring to is a crease in the outer shell caused by the trap arm when it came down and killed the little bugger. I know it's hard to make out the fine detail a lot of times in the resolution we have abide by in the assignments. Here is a closer view.

PS. What bait were you using?
Ahh yes Bill, what bait? You know the bait is the first thing to fly off when these contraptions go off. It must have flown out of camera view. Actually I did try a couple of things placed on the bait holder but they seemed to distract and question the simple message. If it were a cordless mouse, I could have used a battery for bait, no?
Maybe a piece of mouse pad sprinkled with cheese for bait, always a pleasure to see your photo's Mike. If your half as good on programing and fixing computers as you are on Photography then you have both worlds at your fingertips.

Fantastic image as usual. Technically perfect lighting, though it seems to be deviated from your usual trademark style. Love the creativity in this one.

Thanks for the closeup... just to appease my struggling brain. It was bothering me that I couldn't figure that out. - Excuse my ignorance.
Hope there's not a pattern emerging here: You destroyed your mouse for this shot... there's an innocent white bear somewhere in your closet with no head, thanks to a recent WA ... what next?

Actually Carrol, my faith in Mike leads me to think that he reattached the bear head immediately after taking those shots. He couldn't hurt an innocent stuffed teddy bear, afterall
