I noticed that my shot for this week's WA might also work here for the MA topic. It was a lucky find while I was driving around Los Angeles late at night looking for something to shoot.
Well Endre I thought I might have a chance of at least getting a vote or two on the MA but here you go again! I think there is a good chance of you doing the double here!

Thank you, Andrew-Bede, my friend! That's a very sweet comment but with all the great images already posted here, I won't hold my breath on that. Nevertheless, I appreciate your kind words.
L & P, back,

I'm new to this website, but this photo is a winner. Why?? Because it has what
what all great photos have in common: Universal Appeal! You can be anywhere,
in any situation, and understand this photograph!! It is just great! I cast my vote
for Strad and his work of art.
I hope this counts. Like I said, I am new to the website and am not familiar with
whatever rules you may have.
Thanks.

Bluesy, dark and deep. this is a sensitive image not just because of what it shows visually but how it feels and perhaps sounds. working late, living hard, a woman to blame, the booze or the drugs as comfort. No place to call home but the street while waiting for no one to care.
It's interesting to see the eye honed by the ear and informed by a soul. won't say any more
My, my, Fozzel, you write such lovely things about this. You see far more in it than I did, just grabbing it. I'm so glad you like it so much!
The lighting was natural - just what was there at the time. The only enhancements i did (beyond a little sharpening) was dodging in a few small distractions. Otherwise it is ambient light at night.
I honestly can't say much intelligent about Zappa's music. I'm a thoroughgoing classical violinist and when Zappa was out doing his thing, I was indoors practicing away, so I sort of missed him. Then, I never got around to any further explorations.
All best wishes,
Endre

Thanks for the compliment on my gallery. I'm honored that you took time to go see it.
I am a great admirer of Jean-Luc Ponty, although i must say, that I prefer Stephan Grappelli as his performing was far more imaginative. I also had the pleasure of meeting Grappelli on a number of occasions. He was not only a great musician but also a great person.
Thanks for your kind comment. I'm amazed that this has been rediscovered in the "Way-back machine" after all this time. I think first I posted this almost 10 years ago. Amazing!
All the best,
Endre
