England's green and pleasant land... rumour has it that this used to be a cricket pitch until Flibble let his genetically modified llamas graze on it....

I'm hoping to get out shooting again if I get the time before Wednesday.

I like the treatment. It feels very bleak and...urban. The sky fits the mood of the rest of the picture well. I am liking this one. Good luck.

WELCOME BACK, SUE. my dear friend! It's wonderful having you back posting again! (Yikes! Now the competition stiffens... ) Another of your always wonderful shots. Very"Urban", indeed. Bravo! Do you remember when Fibble introduced us to that rather odd insect? I think some of those may have escaped and infected the genetically engineered Llamas with a nasty strain of Fibbleitis. I think Matron has him under severe lock and key, though, so at least that is a step in the right direction.

So very English Sue, reminds me more of one of your famed seaside resorts that I used to visit in my youth.

Actually, I like the feeling of moody urban gloom that you have captured so well here.

Not showing England at its best here. Sad thing is there are more and more sights like this. Hope we can get a country shot in some time then you can use your wonderful skills to capture our greener side. Great shot.

I like this photo very much. The muted colors and grey clouds as well as the gritty foreground combined with the very English buildings all contribute to the great mood of this shot.
