The second image is very cool. With the first one, I feel as though the white from the falls/rapids dominate the image and it looses context. Maybe that's just me, though.
Basic agreement here.
The first shot has too much white from the blurred water to hold interest.
But the second shot with the obvious surface tension of leaf is very nice.
I would only suggest a different crop for #2 as the expanse above the leaf seems too big.

#1 is a great shot, but for one thing. the bottom of the shot really confuses the shot. Crop the very bottom off, leaving the rock with the leaf on it with as much water as you can, and you will find you have a very striking image. The white in the water I don't mind, the busyness at the bottom though is where the problem comes from for me.
