The first one is splendid...the leaf-covered smooth surface, the boulders, and the trees (the source) are beautifully composed. The only thing that could make it better is if the most foreground leaves are more perfect/beautiful.

You got good eyes for details, buddy. Now I notice that too. Really wish I could stand in the middle of water for this shot.
Thank you all very much for the kind words and helpful advice. I usually don't trust myself in landscape shooting because I rarely do it (I shoot portrait like 1,000 times more than landscape ). Now you guys restored part of my confidence. I will keep shooting in this beautiful season.

Thanks, Andy. I wish I had more good pictures of this place. But the lunch hour was too short.
I will head to a national forest in PA next week which is supposed to have a much more splendid view. I will try to bring back more good stuff from there.
great color and foliage. how i'm beginning to miss the colorful fall back home in cincinnati. it's quite a change being out here in seattle where everything is green... aside for the ocassional deciduous tree. for some reason, these all seem to be a bit on the darker side, at least for me.
I cannot put into words how much I envy your shots. I am staying in Singapore and it is summer for my entire life... , very nice color and mood you have captured.... simply beautiful ...
