I was there a year ago and the Grand Prismaric is my favorite place in Yellowstone. You have captured this scene very well,as it is difficult to capture the whole scene with a wide angle lens.Detail and colors are great, well done.Yellowstone truly is a wonder of the world.

Also one of my favorites. At least you were there with no wind so that you weren't engulfed in the steam. Nice shots.
I have been there when that happens: you get all warm like you're in a sauna and then the wind changes and it's cold and dry a few seconds later. It was not this way on this trip however.

Thanks John,
I did the best I could from the walkway that the park service has built. On a future visit, there is a trail to the mountains/hill on the other side of the spring. You can get the full thing in one-shot from there. Hopefully I will be able to come back next year with a shot like that.
Great colours, the 2nd shot is the pick of the series I think as the foreground helps draw the eye to the rest of the photo, excellent composition in this one. Nice series

Thanks Tom. I was leaning towards #2 or #4 as my favorites, but it's good to get another's perspective. It is hard to decide which one is a keeper.
