I just searched Flickr and saw pictures from you. The ones i saw was on a filmbody. How is it on a D700 (can't remember if you shoot D700??!!?)
I was think of it because of the size, great for just walkaround. And i read it should have a nice bokeh ??
It's great on the D700 since it has the CPU chip so you can control the aperture from the camera body. As for the bokeh, I'm probably not the best judge, but I like it!
i'm lookin for at small lens, for walkaround and i found the Nikkor 45mm f/2.8 Ai-S Pancake lens. But there is also the Voigtländer 40mm f/2.0 Pancake lens, wich gets good reviews.
The Voigtländer is tempting because of 40mm focallength and the f/2.
So anyone tried the Nikkor 45mm f/2.8P and the Voigtländer 40mm f/2P ?
I own both. The Voigtlander is easier to use because it's an extra stop faster, but the 45P is probably sharper with more contrast wide open and much nicer bokeh. You can't go wrong with either lens. The 45P is also much smaller.
How about some love for the Voigtlander family? I've got the 40/2 and 20/3.5. The 58 sounds excellent as well, but I haven't gone there yet. Below are a few from the 20. I can say that it's sharp, contrasty, has excellent color rendition, and minimal distortion (there's some, but much less than the Nikkor 20s that I've owned).

also check the last 50 1.8 ais (new), very compact. had one, still feels its a better lens than my present 50 1.4D. cheap too.
