I hesitate to post my HS football work around here with the level of high quality HS posts we've had around here lately... but here goes anyway. C&C as always very much appreciated and will be taken to heart.
A recent local game in a school backyard field, not exactly Lambeau backdrops... overcast and raining at times, sunny breaks others. I shot with 2 bodies - 1 with a 300mm f4 and the other with a 70-200 f2.8 and 1.4X TC.
Thanks Bobby... I didn't like that one at first because there's no blur to the BG (heck, there's no sidelines at this stinkin' field) but it grew on me quick because I like the reactions...

But I won't make it ANYWHERE until guys like Alessi and DW and McAtee take a hike and let rank amateurs like me not get so seriously outgunned around here. It's like taking a toothpick to a swordfight.
Some really nice work! I would have cropped the "crowd shot" a little tighter, I would have cropped the third player on the right of the "bulging eye". I wouldn't be afraid to post your work in the future.
