I had my first daytime football game yesterday...in the last 3 years. They are all at night because of the heat out here. I had this shot, early in the game (I know it's blown a bit) and I laughed. Being on the sidelines, you hear all of the wonderful things that coaches say to their players. The head JV coach constantly says, "Hit em...hit 'em hard. Get in there and take their head off."
So, I was going through the pictures and saw this one. I laughed. I laughed hard .
So, I did this as a joke and sent it to him, expecting a good laugh and a "thanks, Kim".
Instead, I got an order for this as a 20x30 "motivational" poster for them to hang by the door in the locker room.
So true, Paul. It's all about the marketing. I also took shots of the players in line with their hands over their hearts (during the National Anthem). Have of those kids will not see play time. Quick Sepia action (just for drama) and posted them. Those were last night. I've had 6 of those sepia shots ordered today. Why? They know that I will convert to sepia or b&w on request, yet no orders that way. But, by posting the same picture already in sepia, it's a sale.
Blown whites with simple text...no faces...missing a head (lol, but the ball is in frame) and it's a poster for the locker room.
