Here are some shots of the Ruby Crowned Kinglet!!! Sorry for the disappointment but all of these are females and do not exhibit the pretty red cap on top of the head like the males do. I just noticed them in a tree near the entrance to my driveway yesterday. There were so many of these little guys!!! C and C is welcome and thanks for looking!!! P.S. I will do my best to find a male ASAP
Great series of this little girl! The background is perfect and sets off the bird nicely. The second to last is my favorite but they are all great. These little buggers are hard to capture and you did quite well. Keep looking for mr ruby head!!

Thank you Tim!!! Mr Ruby will hopefully be found shortly!
Brenton, these are very nice captures. They are little fast buggers, hard to catch and you did a very good job with them. The last three shots are my favorites. The ruby crown is hard to see even on males. They show it only when they are scared or upset.

Socrate, thanks for the comment!!! I learned something new today thanks again!!!
They are both cute and a pain to catch out in the open like this. Kudos on capturing the cuteness and double kudos for getting someting besides twigs were they were just moments before
