Just a few weeks back, i spent a week around Knoydart peninsula (Scotland). Not on the actual peninsula itself as the only access around is by walking (apart from a small stretch of road) but used it as a base for boat excursions on the surrounding area and islands. There is a tiny place called Doune, with 4-5 houses, the food was superb and so was the hospitality. The only thing that wasn`t great was the weather.
Anyway, between rain, storms, wind and waves, i manage to catch some images.
Dimitri, these are gorgeous. I really love the Eda Frandsen and the use of her mast in Distant Light. My favorites are the first 12.
Thanks for sharing,
Jerry
I can't have any favourites here, as all are WONDERFUL.....but the first.. well, the light and colour you have captured, as well as the atmosphere, is quite simply, exceptional.
Dimitri....wonderful set!!
Beautiful variety of scenes, each with a different feeling. I can't pick a fave, either....they're all delightful.
I'm surprised Ute chose the ones with cattle and a horse!
These are excellent and I like the presentation as a series, with well-chosen selections for BW. Thanks for a bit of warming indoors before touring the rugged cold 'scapes again. Love the fallen boulder image.
All these images are outstanding alone but in a series they just blow one away! Wonderful! I absolutely love the light in #1 - that foreground is superb. Your choices for B&W were inspired, the boat in the fog is making me homesick. And "Fallen Boulders" is an inspiration for me.
Thank you.
