I like the upside-down idea and the model (your daughter?) is very cute but the execution lacks a bit. The harsh cropping on the right makes the pic unbalanced.
Hey Danny! You kept focus on the eyes that’s the main thing. Here's a tip, ALWAYS leave room for a crop. That comes later in post. You can zoom in and see where you think the crop should be, but then back it out before you click that shutter, Ok pal? Nice work
I wish i was taking shots like this when i was 16, great advice from Mike will save many shots in the future. Mind you when i was 16 ,.... it was a long tiime ago

Nice presentation and you captured the emotion in this shot very well. The fact that you kept the focus on the eyes pulls the viewers right into the frame.
Learning to look at all of the corners and edges is something that becomes a habit over time.
Love this shot, the sunglasses are adorable and her smile is so natural. Your second shot is lovely, too, but the first sings more obvious emotion to me. Keep up the great work!
