I second that scam as well...I'm a little skeptical of that myself. That's like showing pictures of a dead big foot and saying that you found it in the woods and stuck it in your freezer to preserve it. They showed everyone...they showed pictures and short videos to show the diseased big foot in their freezer. Wait a minute, that turned out to be a scam.
Don't get me wrong, I think it would be great, but I highly doubt Canon has video built into the 40D and chose to hide it. NOT!!!

how do you think he did it then? it's not that hard to implement video on a digicam with live view.
oh and... Canon has definitely hidden features before on their rebel series.
