The thread mentions he is using ACR 4.6 beta and looking at RAW samples.
Most (all?) other posted samples so far have been jpg,
where its clear Canon has improved NR considerably,
but in the end its RAW, I'm interested in to make use of the extra pixels.
Juza: "In practice you can use it up to 800 ISO without worries; 1600 is ok, 3200...you can use it, if you absolutely need it; 6400 and 12800 are just marketing ;-)"
I think this guys conclusions are hardly based on some sound testing, but what if there is some truth to it? I wonder how it compares to the D300? After all it is the 50D's direct competitor... Looks like another bad press to me
To my testing the D300 is an ISO800 camera,
I'm hoping the 50D goes to 1600 in normal use,
else just skip it and use the 5D II and give up some pixel density.

Or if you don't need the pixels, just use/buy a 40D... According to this Juza dude there is not much difference at all between the 40D and 50D apart from 5 MP's. The 40D is twice as cheap.
Totally with Seth on this one. I've seen the ISO 3200 pictures posted by others. I like them. This guy posts no pictures at all, and he's all of a sudden the guru?
You guys are buying into the conclusions of a hack...
Wait for a credible review before drawing any conclusions. I for one hope that W. Castleman does a 50D review as his 40D review was very well done based upon data and not meaningless opinion like the guy from France...
Yikes, that's too bad, this guy seems to be a fairly non biased guy. I was hoping for dramatic improvements We'll just wait and see....Tom, There are no images

Yeah, really. I wouldn't be so quick to harsh out on Juza. If you want to talk about a crapfest, look at all the latest threads in this forum this week.
Read that last sentence of sdgphoto's again a few more times.
