Its really bad idea for anyone of us if we are trying to judge a new camera in that way and for those that are posting JPGs for us to judge its useless and they should stop. Only plain CR2 files could give us the idea of what 5D MarkII could do in High ISO. The reason is that there is plenty of Raw2anyfile conversion software parameters outhere that is impossible to judge if it the camera or the software that destroys the detail in low light areas or hi saturation areas.
I can't speak for others, but I was not commenting on your skills as a photographer so please don't take it that way. Your 100 ISO shot is a nice one. The problems with the shot appear to be related to the camera, or the lens, or the jpeg compression, etc. I am trying to figure out what it is.
I pre-ordered a 5D Mark II and canceled it due to many test shots that I have seen on the web, not just yours. I don't mind waiting a few more months to make sure that there aren't issues with the new 5D.
I am not here to bash any camera or any photographer. I hope the new 5D is a great camera and I am glad you are enjoying it

No, you should stop looking at them. Much better solution.
TBH, I wouldn't blame people for not posting them given the number of self-proclaimed superheroes who are lining up to kick them to death, but the more samples the better.
Sure the samples are enjoyable to look at. I don't get all the fuss about what may or may not be showing up in the processing. I have gotten the general idea and I like what I see, a lot. Just enjoy, life is short.
I think you have come to a premature and incorrect conclusion, and in a couple of months you may be kicking yourself for passing up the opportunity to be an early adopter.

I haven't come to any conclusion yet and I'm too old to care about being an early adopter
it's not "my" service. it's wellknown rapidshare. The files are big and I can't host them in other places. Just wait several minutes (they write for how long you have to wait), or change your IP adress and download without waiting. Also it's free for others to rehost the files.

A few months?
Canon Hq is aware of the demand (they created it), and if they are on the ball, the assembly lines should be cranking these out - why choke a cashflow opportunity in a weak economy?

Well as a visual anthropologist who has always used stills and wished on some occasions for the ability to film some motion because of the sequence, this will be an invaluable tool. High quality stills and moving pictures, ya hoo. 8v)
