Forgive me if this was here before.
I am shooting in RAW on nikon, and importing to LR on my external hard drive.
Should i transfer files to some other format, like PSD or DNG, and save them that way ?
Should i keep RAW files, and save both, or they got discarded at the time of transfer ?
I keep my original RAWs. I also keep my final JPGs which are usually at highest quality, full size. For a select set of images (i.e. ones that I really like and/or want to print big) I'll also keep PSDs. I don't bother with DNG.
