p.2 #1 · Using 2 R-Straps

Greetings,

For those that use the R-strap(s), do you use them with the flash attached or only available light type shots? Anyone using one with a bracket as well? seems like that would be to unwieldly. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Kim

With & without flash. Works great.

Tag for that velcro shot, interesting. I wear 2 R-Straps criss-cross, and it was not very comfy & awkward for the left camera sometime.

I wore this one wedding for over 12 hours.
I only got a bit of a small sore spot on the back of shoulder from the plastic adjustment strap.
Other than that, the heavy duty velcro really held it's own

Wearing the R-straps criss/cross i found one camera to be very limited to how far i can lift it up.
This is a very simple solution. Cut the velcro, stick on, and done....

Good lord, trust FM to lower the tone

Anybody know where I can get an R-Strap or two in the UK? Or any US store that will ship to the UK? I've been googling and finding nothing

I made some of my own that look very much like the R-Straps (and then I found this thread) I hope he does well selling them, they're great!

I use two and the two are not sewn together. One with a 70-200 2.8 attached to the tripod collar and the other attached to the bottom of the other cam with a short lens. The strap attached to the tripod collar goes underneath the other strap as there's fredom of movement in the tripod collar to allow for horizontal/vertical framing.

You'll need to experiment with which one should be under/over the other.
