My current computer is a POS, and has cooked 3 video cards in the past 5 days.
I need to upgrade anyway, so I've been wanting to kit one. I'm a little bit lazy though, so buying everything I need from different sites is like...bleh, and paying what Dell wants for a new one is bleh too.
I went to Tigerdirect.com and checked out their barebones kits. Essentially I kit the thing myself, but they bundle (nearly) everything I need.
If you have cooked 3 video cards, then is there enough ventilation? Perhaps a new case and appropriate fans/placement should be the priority. Also be sure to get a quality power supply. Cheap ones cause more trouble than they are worth. I prefer Intel chipsets for their CPUs.
0 problems with cooling, all fans are working properly, and are high quality. The power supply is an Antec 550W power supply, and I even tried a brand new one, to rule out the power supply.
It's definitely the mother board, I honestly can't think of anything else.
