To all my Fred Miranda Colleagues and Friends in Los Angeles environs,
The concert went very well yesterday and everyone seemed to enjoy it. For those of you who live in the Los Angeles area, it will be rebroadcast this coming Wednesday at noon over KCSN radio (88.5 FM) . If you live nearby I hope you can listen in.
Great lighting Endre and also good use of negative space. Juicy.
Your concert will be heard over here at 9.00am on Monday 8th according to my calculations. Quite convenient for me so I shall attempt to pick up the broadcast.
I hope you will enjoy the concert, too. It should be a lot of fun.
Best wishes,
Endre

Hi Strad,
I am gutted, worked out when your concert will be aired here and yes you guessed it i am picking up my Son from his 10 week excursion to asia and the antipides. Well you might not have guessed that !
I like your shot not just because you have lit it well and added that lovely touch with the water droplets but because in the serch for perfection i see you have used the back of your strad as a table top. Is there no ends you will go to!
Take care and best of luck with the concert.
Mark
As amazing as always. The light is simply captivating. I am in awe at your capability to produce such images time after time after time. It's depressing....
My first thought when seeing this image was that the strawberries were some kind of curious animal coming up to investigate the drops of water. Beautiful shot.
Thank you, Mark! I appreciate your kind comments and am glad you like it. To bad that you won't get to hear it. Next year, perhaps.
Yikes! What an idea - using the back of my Strad as a table top!!! No, that is actually our Dining Room table. Very funny.
All best wishes,
Endre

Aw, gee, Yakim! You are too lavish in your praise. I really appreciate it and am so glad you like this shot. The best of my photos I can see in my head before I ever set them up to shoot. then, I always feel I am just kind of lucky when they come out like I envisioned.
All the best,
Endre

Thanks for taking time to comment. I'm glad you like it. Now, I'll never be able to look at it again without thinking of little, curious strawberry animals.
Best,
Endre

Although I feel the strawberries could be more shiny, this is an exquisite shot! The lighting and texture of the grain is just awesome. I guess the berries are trying to make their way to the water droplets? Anyhow, amazing shot. You got my vote so far. Sorry I have been away for a while. Just getting the transition down for moving into my new home. The good thing is that I will be able to set up my little studio there and get back to work on my shooting. But with the looks of this shot, I need to be shooting for a long while to come close to this masterpiece.
Good luck with your concert. I wish I was there.

Thanks, Steve! (Two Steves in a row ) I'm so glad you like this. It's always nice to read that people like my lighting since I have no gear to speak of and it always has to be improvised.
All best wishes,
Endre

Hi Endre,
Another absolutely terrific shot. The lighting as is usual in your shots is fantastic and the water drops are a perfect touch. Good luck this week,
