Very nice.
If you look at the better timepieces websits you will almost always see them positioned at 10 minutes before two.
This hand setting compliments and unclutters the face.
Even though I'm used to the classic "ten of two" (and occasionally "ten after ten") position, the hands look natural and attractive within your angled composition. Even the way the S in Helbros is bisected works for me.
I like this a lot.
Vipermike... (Mr. WA) I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy... I'm just teasing!
In all seriousness, I appreciate you commenting. I'm still new to the WA's, but I'm so enjoying them.
Photon, you should have seen my big grin when I read what you wrote! Thank you!!!
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I used a gold reflector and really liked the outcome of the 'color'. I attempted to lighten it in Lightroom - just to see, but it lost the antique look, so I left it as is. Other than the crop it's SOOC. As for the BG, it was simply a burgundy throwpillow! I just love photography!!!
I remembered today that I have an old wallet from the 1930's...but I'm really glad I used this watch. I like all of the little scratches and visible wear on it - and the fact that it belonged to my husband's great-grandfather.
