Here's my famdamly... 3 very important people to me. these are quick captures - I was sitting at my computer in my office today and my children came to the kiddie gate that separates my computer/camera gear from certain distructions by kiddos - and my daughter says: "daddy.. get a picture of me and my 2 babies!"
it's hard not to get a silly grin or goofy smile out of my daughter right now at 3 years old - you have to kinda catch her off guard so you can get a more candid moment.
D300 - ambient light, 85mm 1.8 shot at 1.8

#2 - not a great capture cause it's soft and he's got the "not so intelligent" looking open mouth - but he's still a cutie and warms most people's hearts... looking for the girls 'aaaahhhhhhhhhhh" about right now http://capturedmomentsphotos.smugmug.com/photos/361744868_jdYgF-XL.jpg
The first is a nice capture, though looks a little soft, a higher ISO and shutter speed is need here. The second is too blurred to be a keeper and the the third could use some more DOF.
