We had a nice day weather wise in Stockholm on the weekend, so I spent it out boating with the 300L f2.8 on my 1DmkIII
There is so much bitching and moaning about the 1DmkIII on this forum that I thought I would share these photos to show that it works so much better if you get out and shoot with it rather than moaning about how bad you heard it is.
And as for the 300L f2.8, ohh how I love this lens :smitten: I might not have used it as much over the summer as planned, but I certainly have no regrets buying it
I couldn't be happier with my 1DMkIII. I get nothing but great results with it. Not only is the focusing rock solid when letting the camera pick the AF points, but the wide array of points I can use when selecting them individually gives me more flexibility composing my shots.

I wish we had benches like in that last shot. . .the Swedes love the sun!
They have too as we don't see it much for the rest of the year
Wait wait..sure, they are sharp, and taken with an awesome, expensive lense..but this set, for the most part, are just kind of...plain? Some are under exposed, and none really make me say 'wow, that's a great photo' as opposed to 'wow, that's a great lense'. SOrry.
