I'm a fan of quick releases since I may take more than one camera (switch), and will use a tripod (of which I can't stand camera straps with that set-up).
it is dependent on what you have hanging on it. lots of people like the optech pro but i find it way too bouncy with a 1D series or D3 type camera with a decent lens on it. optech makes another strap called the utility strap nearly as comfortable with none of the bungie effect. it has the same disconnects as the pro loop. in addition it has better should grip too.
I went back to my Upstrap for now with the new camera. I also like my Optech Pro and Domke strap, both quick release, both sitting in a drawer for the time being. I might not go back with my E-1 hand strap once I get the grip, as I find it fussy going between landscape and portrait orientation with the hand strap, what with pulling my hand free of it and its flopping around.

I think it sucks. The strap twists after the camera is raised and lowered several times and the ConnectR that is shipping with the strap is dangerous. The company promised a new ConnectR (CR-2) by last October but it has been delayed by their "distributor". I have been told that the new delivery date is now sometime in April.
I like the neoprene ones as they give to cut down on shock from the item bouncing around. I got a real nice strap free from Smug Mug that I put on one of my Quantum Batteries. I think that I am switching to the R Strap from Black Rapid. I hear from those who use it how much of an improvement it is over common neck straps. I probably pick it later this month or next as buying to lenses a 17-552.8IS and a 18-200mm walk around lens. I just not sure how much I will trust the bogen tripod QR as an attachment point. It comes with their gadget connector and I may put it on the connection for the heaviest setup. I may test the ring n the QR2 pad to see what it can take I have several and one or two are not being used right now.
