p.1 #1 · Markins Ball, RRS Clamp but which?

I have a Gitzo 1228 tripod which I use for travel.
Body 5D, biggest lens 70-200 f2.8.
Looking at the reviews I have decided to get a Markins Head and RRS clamp.
But I'm not sure whether to go for Q3 or M10 Head .
I think I have to go for the B2 LR II clamp because its threaded to attach to the ball. Would this clamp be too big for a Q3 head?
Advice appreciated.
