Last night I somehow got the urge to play with a Strobist setup for lighting seashells. I am trying to find a neat way to document all the shells we have found at various beaches this summer. Lots of fun.
Lit from front left with a strobe, and the wall was lit with a strobe and blue gel behind. The shell is on a black granite floor tile and the colour is a reflection from the wall. Lots of cool variations are possible...
