Barry, I have to go against the crowd here but #2 does it for me. Just a touch of trees and no lake to take your eye away. And that big ole rock hanging in the sky. Must have been a great site to your eyes.

Some very majestic looking shots there. And I had to go back and look to see which one you said was HDR, which is definitely a positive thing. I do think there is a smidge of a halo in the HDR shot over the mountains but that's pretty nitpicky.
Nice work here Barry, I always enjoy seeing your journeys and this is no exception. I really like the crop you did to get rid of the branches. I might be tempted to crop down just a little more on the sky, but it looks much improved without the branches.
