Still processing shots from my trip almost a year ago to Washington. These are from the 1st of Sept, on my drive to Spokane.
1) From the road to Sunrise, a Photomatix HDR (I know, I know) early-ish morning
2) & 3) from near Chinook Pass, on the highway to Yakima, mid morning.
It was my first time to get to see this magnificent mountain, and I appreciate you letting me share these shots.
Thanks for looking, and all C&C welcome.
Barry
Added a crop. Thanks, Jim!!

Wonderful crisp images, Barry. I like the last one the most. The path round the small lake and the hikers make this image so inviting!
Aaaah, summer.... I wished we had any over here.

Lovely shots! I dont mind #1. Not too bad of a halo around the mountain and the HDR really brought out the detail and impact of the crevasses. #2 and #3 are fantastic and well seen.
2 and 3 from the Tipsoo Lake area are quite nice. You got some excellent clouds. Now, get there pre-dawn and you've got a view that you'll never forget. Now, as for those contrails ......
Sweet stuff! My favorites are #2 and 3 also. Man the mountain looks like a huge marble! I like #1 except for those brances coming into the scene from the bottom. But I like that bench that it's in the middle, the lighting on it is so cool, how about a really close crop, just getting that bench in the mid-ground and the mountain?
Again, great work Barry, the first one looks incredibly natural for a HDR. Looks like you've mastered the program perfectly. The left side shows some very minor green cast in highlights though - but it's only there when you look for it. Superb views on the other pictures - especially the third. Too bad there are some contrails in the sky, but what can you do?.
I don't think anybody dislikes HDR more than I but I have to say Barry, I like yours. It looks very natural. I think this is what HDR was designed and created for. Super job Barry!
2 & 3 (especially 3) are simply gorgeous Barry, superb exposure. ! is good also but as i`m not a great friend of clear blue skies, it didn`t push my button. Take care.
