I don't know about anyone else, but I have got to see a shot from that 75/1.5
First pictures i did all shoot at f1.5 without any extension rings. Too bad it was rainy today

This little lens is a "hidden gem". It's too slow to be of interest for most users, but it's such a good lens!
I think M8 was over-priced at $4500 (or whatever retail price you want to pick), but now that they are moving on the used market for ~$2400, there's some good value there. I won't debate the financial merits of the M8 because that's a losing battle. It is a fun camera to use.

Alex - did you modify the 85 FD or is it mounted via adapter (with the integrated optic)?
Modified it. I kept the rear element & everything as it was in the original FD configuration. No infinity focus (yet). Max focus distance is ~10m or so, plenty for portraits.
Zenit Helios 58/F2, 42mm screw mount. It hangs on the down stroke on the 5DM.
It has been so long since I have seen anything with the logo that is on this lens.
I cranked up the black point in Aperture to emphasis the logo.
