You should be a little more careful when posting an image like this composite with your copyright (which is visible in the mouse-over).
You have violated the forum rules as well as other's intellectual property rights (B&H logo, misc photos) by claiming them as your own.
I have never claimed anything about this image is mine, either the parody or images used in the parody. I thought I made that clear with my text but if that is not the case let me expressly state that I did not make this image. I wish I had the sense of humor the person that made this fake Skymall page (and their layout skills). The publishing system did automatically add my user name to an HTML title tag which I'm unable to remove. If I had a link to the image I would have posted that (I'd like to see some of their other work). I have no problem if the site moderator wants to delete the image or this thread. And I will be much more careful with posting in the future.
As for any violation of other's property rights in a parody, that is clearly a case of fair use. Using B&H logo, Skymall font, Canon logo here is all fair use. The original designer might have used someone else's windmill or city shots, I'll grant you that. But they might have just as easily used public domain images or stock photos.
Sorry if this reply seems strident or shrill, I had a funny image with no background info to cite that I thought people would enjoy. I in no means wanted to take credit for anyone else's ideas or photos. Please report this thread to the moderator if you want it removed. I've said my piece and would rather talk about Canon gear or photos now.

One of my friends brother has a cousin who has the 3500 and he swears that it is soft wide open. I think he is sending it in to have it re-calibrated...
That is pretty good. I hear it also back focuses.
That is why you have to buy 3 of them and send back other 2.
I hear that Nikon is going to release a 3700mm with Global Stabilzation (GS) at PhotoKina in the fall. Leave it to Canon to fall behind again. Us poor Canon users are always behind.

To clarify my point:
The fact that you do not know the origin of these images should have been reason enough not to post them in a public forum. Ignorance of copyright and trademark laws is no excuse.
Fonts and logos do not fall under "fair use" as stipulated in copyright law. They are not covered by copyright law at all. They are covered by Trademark Law.
Parody as stipulated under Trademark Law would be the use of a similar logo, not the actual logo that is a registered trademark.

Oh Jeez Gerry laugh and live a little.
So, you wouldn't be the least bit upset if I took some of your photos from www.ZoomOnSports.com
along with some logos and icons and posted them in this forum?

Just curious...read the thing twice and call me stupid for asking.. What's with the elian gonzallas(sp) picture?
See the rigging of the windmill on the left. That's the funniest shot of them all if you ask me.
When the US government breaks down your door and shoves automatic weapons in your face to force you to return a child to a country that his mother died trying to "escape" from, place a windmill in your house and wait for the media to show up.

if you were using it for humor and not for profit yeah that would be fine. Saturday Night Live comes to mind.
