Now that is an old-school desk. We had those in my high school--with a small circle in each, where an inkwell used to be. (I'm not _that_ old, but my school was.)
Location is Crane's Pie Pantry in Fennville, MI. A large barn converted to casual dining, the space is crammed to the gills with 100-year old stuff: farm tools, kitchen stoves, clothes, signs, family portraits, toys. The school furniture was darling (and made of real wood). Great fun for the youngsters, and a major photo op. Of course, there is the pie.
My daughter is lit by direct flash and indirect window. Minor PP, including radial gradients. C&C welcomed.
