I'm in the same boat with an injury to boot. Once I get healed I can look for new work. When I look back on my life each seperation was a new opportunity that helped me to grow. Think back a decade or so, would you still want that job? Consider it a chance to push yourself to the next level.
My husband is a camera operator in the Film & TV Industry. The Writer's Strike succeeded in killing many shows. My husband has worked about 15 days in over 7 months. Now there's the threat of the Actor's Strike. If that happens, our only saving will be him retiring & us selling our home & moving to another area.
Life is hard for a lot of people these days, but please remember that this is a
"psychological recession" according to the powers that be.
Good luck & I hope something good will happen for you soon.
Got laid off 2 jobs this month...share the pain...keep opening doors by keeping our imagination and creativity open to new possibilities...we'll survive...good luck...
