p.1 #1 · glass wall

I was at a club discussing prints when I saw the lights reflecting on the glass. It would make an interesting picture I hoped, then fired away a couple of shots. Here is one of 2 originals and the processed versions. Thanks for any comments, especially if any of the versions are worthy at an art competion coming up in that area.

1 - one of two originals

#1 is OOF and lacks something
#2 is the best shot
#3 and #4 are fun attempts at photoshop :-) (glowing/find edges ftw)

My suggestion would be to shoot from as far away as possible, and then let the lights from behind the glass wall work for you to create a great image. If you are shooting a subject, place them about 1/3 from the glass wall between you and the wall. This will allow a longer lens to bring the wall out of focus enough to create a nice design but not far enough away that you loose too much detail to identify what it is.

#2 is awsome, though I would have framed higher. Don't care much for 3 and 4. #1 is OOF.

Thanks Andre, sounds like #2 is a submission candidate

#1 is one of the originals and not PP'd, was put there to show change in the 2,3,4 versions. Actually, #3 is the PP'd version of #1

Thanks for visiting and comments

Joe

I vote crop out all but the glass in #2. The tiles detract from the image.

Crop the top to the line, if you can.

Yup. Of course, art is about taste, but I like that better.
