p.1 #1 · 8x12 photo paper

I decided it would be nice to be able to print in office rather then through the lab all the time, so I have a printer that only uses sheets and I have gotten addicted to the 8x12 format. All the photo paper I can find is 8.5x11... Is there a source for 8x12 photo paper anywhere? Or how do you guys handle that?

Thanks,
Jim

Jim, i make maney 8x12 prints and get it done with a Epson 2200 printer and Enhanced Matte Paper 11.7x16.5 18m (S041343) paper which is Epson also. Give space to trim for frameing.

Half of a 13X19 is 9.5X13, That size would work if your printer can handle the width. I have recently been using Brilliant Museum papers. The result shave been awesome.

Thanks that is an idea, are you cutting the paper in half or just trimming it?

Thanks Mike. I had seen at Office Depot that they carried there own brand as a 13x19 size, so I did think to myself that cutting it in half would work. Where are you getting the Brilliant Museum papers from?

I use epson exhibition & velvet, I use 13 by 19 and run it thru 2 times. ( i allow a little dry time ) I also have run it thru after trimming it to 13x9.5 and feeding it in landscape. It works well with an occasional misfeed.

Hey Alan,

Thanks! Do you order the Epson 13x19? I didn't see anything by Epson that large in the stores I went to.

Brilliant Museum is from Calumet and perhaps Brilliant Paper online. I first used it in the old film days, Fred Picker of Zone VI fame imported it when he couldn't find a quality paper domestically. I ordered a 25 sheet pack and a sample Museum Pack. The "Brilliant Satin Matte Natural" printed B&W on my I9900 blew me away.

By the way I use an old 20" rotary cutter to size the 13X19 down and a Logan matte cutter for mounts and backer board.
