Too much dead space in your banner from the logo to the nav area on the right. I don't like the moving elements of the banner, either. Ditch the equipment section all together. Viewers care about the photos, not how you got them. Get rid of the visitor counter. It's just tacky.
Not sure why there are photos on the right like that. Very odd. Get rid of them.
Make sure you are optimizing your photos correctly, as well. Some added saturation (web desaturates photos) as well as some major sharpening is needed for photos online.
