That's closer than I *ever* want to get to a spider.

Lol. Relax it is just a litle spider. 11-12mm at most. You won't even notice it.

Mark, I stumbled upon your site in my macro research awhile ago. You do excellent work.
I've started using a 35mm reversed with good results. I think I'm gonna try and acquire a 24mm too.

Would you care to share any tips to increase my "keeper" rate?

I also noticed you also got a d300. It's leagues ahead of the D70. Have fun with it.

Very sharp! I need to investigate this whole lens reversing thing.

I like your flash diffuser. Is it homemade? Is it diffusing the on-board flash?

Great work with the reverse setup!

I used to shoot with reverse 50, but can't get that mag... Anyway, knowing the setup helps me to understand the effort put to get a shot like this!

Keep posting!

I don't know where to start. but one tip is learn your stalking technique. Taking the pics is a lot easier if you know how to use the environment and what kind of insect your after.

cheers, Mark

Yes it is a homemade diffuser made of the fabric my marking q3 came in.

For flash I use the sb400. Still very small but a lot more power.

cheers, Mark
