How many people send these out to clients after everything is said and done? It seems to me like it would be a nice gesture, not cost much, and increase the probability of getting referrals in the future. While it may not be huge, if you just got one additional referral in 25 clients, it would be worth it.
Any comments on this?
Anyone have any particular places they like to use to order cards from?
I'm lucky enough to have a friend who does art work and graphic design. I have him do something cool and different for each client. We then write out a personalized thank you inside each one. I send it with the DVD and pictures.
So in short, great idea. Good customer service will set you apart from others!
I hand out thank you cards at the reception as a thank you from the Bride and Groom to their guests. The photo on the card is taken at the rehearsal. It also allows me to include the web link for the photos.
Each card is custom (obviously) and ALWAYS well received. The cards can be on elaborate card stock or more likely on photo paper. Depends on my mood. I use a Sony DyeSub printer for AWESOME printing at the midnight hour.
Yeah, I custom designed a Thank You and put our logo on it. We got them printed by WHCC and send them out whenever someone books us or if we ship orders to them.
Even if it never generates business, I feel its the least we can do for them giving us a job!
